What the Job Involves…
- Provides engineering and technical support to plan, schedule, coordinate and execute full life cycle commissioning of critical facilities.
- Participates in the MEP design process; witnesses the static and dynamic testing of complex mechanical, electrical and controls systems and operates the system in normal, maintenance and failure modes of operations by performing the following duties.
- Performs Test Procedures.
- Work with fundamental test equipment.
- Electrical Discipline should be comfortable working around live components, three phase AC Power Systems and Direct Current (DC) power systems. Mechanical Discipline should be comfortable working with chilled water distribution and commercial HVAC systems.
- Conducts site observation surveys and prepares field reports on the status of projects and completion of projects with respect to compliance to the plans and specifications.
- Prepares punch list reports and determines corrective measures for on-site problems.
- Acts as project coordinator with other field engineers, coordinating printing, presentation and administration procedures.
- Develops MEP test and operating procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

What the Job Involves…
- Maintain high-level expertise of product knowledge and application.
- Complete System Layouts; design layouts of busduct systems based on site surveys, customer drawings, project tenders and field input.
- Working knowledge of Autocad mechanical and electrical preferred.
- Create product technical documentation (catalog sheets, FAQ’s, Tech Briefs, Reports, installation instructions, etc.)
- Provide technical support to sales and to customers onsite or remotely as required on topics including but not limited to product ratings, compliance with local regulations and Standards, safety, functionality, customisation, troubleshooting, installation, and pricing.
- Attend customer facing meetings which may include providing customer facing presentations for product solutions, project management updates.

- Aptitude for electrical product design and application in power distribution and busduct products.
- Familiarity with the IEC standards and various IEC certifications.

What the Job Inolves…
- Install and set up services.
- Assemble, install, repair and set up the infrastructure equipment: container, cooling, optical fibers, electrical equipment etc.
- Install the probes and alerts needed to manage installations.
- Validate that the different deployments function correctly to ensure continuous service.
- Follow the set-up procedures for equipment.
- Manage the logistics of orders and dispatch.
- Comply with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Carry out preventative and recurred maintenance operations.
- Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel, and follow safety protocol.
- Conduct maintenance of electrical systems.

- Is able to work independently.
- Has previous working experience as a Maintenance Technician for 3/5 years’.

What the Job Inolves…
- Contribute to data center systems architecture, as the first level of support (L1).
- Optimise bays for new servers.
- Wire the incoming cables and network of servers within a bay, respecting the wiring scheme.
- Install servers as required by the Team Leaders and in accordance with the operational plan.
- Assemble and install computer hardware (assemble/install/ upgrade/update computers).
- Follow safety rules and regulatory requirements.
- Call in an L2 technician if needed.
- Contribute to data center maintenance, as the first level of support (L1).

- To operate the Critical Processes to ensure the mitigation of risk to the operation of critical plant and equipment.
- Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the building are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made. These reactive calls to also include concessionary stores and fabric related items.

- Basic design and calculation of data centers.

- Assisting with incident management and subsequent investigation to establish root cause.
