    The Client

    Datacenter People is partnering with a global leader in power infrastructure for data centers and other mission critical environments.

    What The Job Involves
    Increase top line sales in the South Korea market 
    Develop North Asia sales channels, selecting new representatives if needed, managing and supporting existing representatives and administration of representative contracts, pricing strategy, training methods, and support programs. 
    Develop and implement target data center end user account strategy 
    Negotiate contracts and assist in their administration 
    Create proposals, sales letters and prepare and deliver presentations. 
    Identify and recommend marketing activities such as trade shows and promotional programs.  
    Attend trade shows and assist with set up and tear down of booths 
    Manage opportunities, leads and other sales activities thru sales force.com 
    Monitor South Korea market trends and identify impact on product development and suggest new products and services to promote and market within strategic global markets 
    Establish annual budget and adhere to approved budget guidelines 
    Establish and maintain database of Asia contacts and accounts. 
    Coordinate sales operations with all other departments/divisions of the Company. Assists with Import and exportation requirements 
    Assists with trade account receivables and coordinate with Credit Manager and accounts receivables 
    Establish & develop multi-channel sales strategy  
    Collaborate with Legrand LDCS associates in South Korea to assist with data center market growth for other products. 

    We're Looking Someone With
    Engineering degree required 
    Proficient in English 
    5 years’ experience working with busbar products (preferably) in the mission critical markets and specifying engineering community 
    5 years’ experience selling to the mission critical markets, specifying engineering community and end users. 
    5 years’ experience developing and executing strategic and tactical sales plans 
    Have existing network of South Korean mission critical markets customers and potential representatives 
    Proven background in sales growth in the mission critical markets market 
    Highly computer literate with high level of PowerPoint expertise, PC proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of sales contact management databases and CRM systems 
    Superior organizational, interpersonal, communication, negotiation, staff development and operations skills 
    Ability to present and interact with all levels of management  
    Ability to work well independently and in a team environment  
    Highly self-motivated with the ability to motivate others 
    This position requires up travelling as and when required 
    This position is based in home office or can be in Legrand Seoul office

      We’re Looking for Someone With

      • At least 5 years' of experience in sales / business development and experience in the data center market.
      • A degree or diploma in business administration, sales or relevant field.
      • Languages: English, German (additional languages are a plus). 
      • Strong teamwork, communication and organisational skills. 
      • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment. 
      • Structured, independent, proactive and objective-orientated way of working.

      Datacenter People has been instructed by a global player and the leading European cloud provider operating over 450,000 servers within 34 data centers across 4 continents to reach 1.6 million customers in over 140 countries.
       
      What the Job Involves

      • Contribute to datacenter systems architecture, as the first level of support (L1). 
      • Optimise bays for new servers.
      • Wire the incoming cables and network of servers within a bay, respecting the wiring scheme.
      • Install servers as required by the Team Leaders and in accordance with the operational plan. 
      • Assemble and install computer hardware (assemble/install/ upgrade/update computers).
      • Follow safety rules and regulatory requirements. 
      • Assemble industry equipment and water-piping equipment related to the operations of the server racks. 
      • Call in an L2 technician if needed.
      • Contribute to datacenter maintenance, as the first level of support (L1). 
      • Intervene on the servers in response to monitoring alerts or customer tickets. 
      • Upgrade the servers (change obsolete components) according to the list of work to be carried out. 
      • Undertake curative maintenance on delivered servers. 
      • Identify intervention stages using diagnostic information. 
      • Apply maintenance procedures. 
      • Update wiring systems. 
      • Restructure computer bays. 
      • Implement actions to resolve problems related to the server environment. 
      • Ensure computers are functioning properly via analysis and monitoring.

      What the Job Involves…

      • Perform design reviews of systems.
      • Develop, oversee and write startup and commissioning policies and procedures.
      • QA/QC of the equipment installation.
      • Perform construction observations and develop functional test plans.
      • Execute tests for a wide variety of electrical and mechanical systems and to ensure testing is performed in conformance with standards and procedures.
      • Assist in training of plant operations and maintenance personnel.
      • Act as liaison with vendors and subcontractors regarding problem resolution and perform testing as required.
      • Review and analyse data and prepare technical reports.
      • Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors and other project team members.
      • Work with others to manage small to mid-size projects to meet client expectations for technical excellence, budget and schedule.

      We’re Looking for Someone Who…

      • 7 years' of industry experience in either electrical power distribution or mechanical systems or both. AA degree, military training or equivalent work experience.
      • Experience in diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems.
      • Be organised; possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
      • Experience with MS word and excel is a must.
      • Must have the ability to work in a high stress environment, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
      • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with and guide others.
      • Knowledge of building codes and construction industry standards.
      • Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
      • Must have or be able to obtain a passport
      • Must have demonstrated proficiency for all the responsibilities of a Commissioning Engineer.
      • 5 years' of experience in the commissioning field including performance contracting requirements.
      • Must be proficient in BCA, PECI and/or ASHRAE commissioning procedures. Hospital, biotech, data center, and energy analysis experience is preferred.
