    What the Job Involves

    • Stakeholder Communication.
    • Contract Management.

    • Manage the cost change process and negotiate best pricing in partnership with cross functional/matrixed team members in cost and schedule. 
    • Manage the schedule and associated risks to ensure reliable and predictable turnover dates. Reporting upward on opportunities, risks, and mitigations to ensure predictable delivery of capacity. 
    • Accountable for the development of cost savings solutions and early identification of project savings/underruns to ensure target values are maintained which providing predictable delivery of capacity to the business. 
    • Lead and mentor the construction team by providing guidance and support. 
    • Promote and model an attitude of continuous improvement, partnership, and teamwork in behaviours and communications.

    We’re Looking for Someone Who

    • 10+ years’ experience working construction project management, preferably in data centers.
    • Strong background in Project Management methodologies.
    • Experience in managing a construction project. 
    • Experience with the design and deployment of technical electrical and mechanical systems (electrical or mechanical background. 
    • Experience in Continuous Process Improvement and defining and managing associated metrics and KPIs. 
    • Experience in data centres or a similar mission critical environment is considered a significant advantage though not essential this will be a key consideration should multiple candidates be assessed for suitability. 
    • Experience of working in a European multi-cultural environment.
    • Highly proficient in spoken and written English (C1 or C2 level of CEFR).
    • Good German language skills (B2 level of CEFR).

      What The Job Involves

      We’re Looking for Someone With

      • Higher educational qualifications to ‘A’ level/HNC/D or degree
      • Technical education in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline or equivalent
      • Working knowledge of generators, coolers and UPS systems would be desirable
      • Good PC based skills, with experience in Word/Excel and Outlook – intermediate to advance level, desirable skills in PowerPoint and MS Project

      What The Job Involves 

      • Ensure our Data Centres are running smoothly and efficiently at all times.  
      • Carry out technical maintenance, repairs, and installations whilst providing support to our customers to meet SLAs.  
      • Involved with the day-to-day surveillance of buildings and equipment, liaising with contractors and acting as the first point of contact for the escalations of alarms. 

      We’re Looking for Someone With

      • Proven engineering experience in air conditioning, UPS, generators, and LV systems  
      • Experience working as a technician in an electrical or industrial environment  
      • Strong technical fault-finding skills. 
      • A thorough, accurate approach to completing tasks  
      • Good communication skills in English, including report writing.  
      • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

      Datacenter People has been instructed by one of the leading multi-technical engineering service providers in the Nordics with a focus on critical infrastructure solutions.

      What The Job Involves 

      • Lead, drive, and distribute work within the project.
      • Monitor Company’s interests as a supplier and handle risks and opportunities, anticipating future consequences responsibly and accurately. 
      • Lead and take overall responsibility including the project’s financials, governance, and oversight. 
      • Build the project organizstion and implement QA/QC and health & safety management systems.

      We’re Looking for Someone With

      • Possesses a post-secondary education, preferably in engineering.
      • Has prior experience in a leadership role managing large, complex, fast track projects (over 50 million EUR).
      • Has thorough experience from installations and technical systems in data centers, and the cooperation model between suppliers and international clients.
      • Understands business models and contracts which are standard in
      • international data center projects.
      • Has led large organisations with multiple levels, including direct staff and subcontractors.
      • Is fluent in English, both spoken and written; Swedish or Norwegian is an advantage.
