The Client

Datacenter People is working with the leading provider of reliable, sustainable and highly connected edge data centers in Europe, with locations in Germany, France, The Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark.
 
What the Job Involves

• Management of customer requests through telephone calls and/or tickets received.
• Management of tickets until they are closed.
• Contacting customers before, during and after interventions 
• End of intervention report.
• Install, configure, and deploy IT equipment such as servers, network switches, and storage systems.
• Management of deliveries (receipt, shipping). 
• Visual inspections and operations (Leds, lights, cable positioning, etc.).
• Manage structured cabling and cable organization to ensure reliable and efficient connectivity. 
• Checked the redundancy of the electrical power supply of the equipment. 
• Transport of bands or equipment.
• Tape rotation management.
• IP address setting. 
• Implementation of cross connect.
• Creation of optical test.
• Knowledge of Pack Office.

We’re Looking for Someone With

• A real team player; you enjoy to increase productivity by working together.
• Experience in main distribution board switching of ACB’s.
• Practical knowledge of H&S requirements including RA’s, Lock out Tag out, permits to work. 
• Experienced in vendor management. 
• Self-motivated and professional manner.
• Good communication skills.  
• Basic knowledge of MS office applications.
• Experience with an asset management tool.
