    The Client

    Datacenter People is partnering with a global leader in power infrastructure for data centers and other mission-critical environments.

    What The Job Involves

    Management of the discipline, which ensures the targeted budget is achieved 
    Delivering new market opportunities and create opportunities to achieve business growth 
    Keep track of market evolution and dynamics to make business decisions 
    Develop proactive lead generation and a solid deliverable pipeline of new and growth business.
    Develop and agree a sales strategy for Ireland, CEE, T & R region for “Critical Power”.  
    Maintain and build on existing client relationships by expanding and developing the relationship throughout their Europe market sector networks.
    Maintain and provide feedback on up-to-date knowledge of the market activity and potential impact on key target sectors.
    Establish and develop multi-channel sales strategy.  
    Develop regional sales channels, including selecting new representatives, establishing geographic prioritization, developing representative selection criteria, representative relationship support and management, development and administration of representative contracts, pricing strategy, training methods, and support programs.  
    Develop and implement target data center end user account strategy.  
    Negotiate contracts and assist in their administration.   
    Monitor regional market trends and identify impact on product development and suggest new products and services to promote and market within strategic global markets.  
    Establish annual budget and adhere to approved budget guidelines.  

    We're Looking For Someone With

    Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field of study 
    Master’s degree preferred.
    5 years of sales experience primarily in B2B environments.
    Experience in developing and executing strategic and tactical plans.

      Datacenter People is working with a global data center services provider delivering project management, engineering design and critical facility management to hyperscale, colocation, and edge leaders.

      What The Job Involves 

      • Provide support in identifying and specifying project opportunities and in delivering contractual commitments on secured projects.
      • Ensure that opportunities for the strategic development of projects are utilised to deliver increased turnover and profitability.
      • To deliver projects to completion on time and on budget and to the satisfaction of all parties, expectations to be exceeded wherever possible.
      • To identify, reduce and manage all risks (technical, statutory, health and safety, commercial or otherwise) associated with each and every project.
      • Ensure compliance with project management policies and procedures.
      • Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions and that both clients and company’s health and safety policy and process is effectively implemented across both company and sub-contractor activities and are regularly reviewed on each and every project. This will include the timely delivery of a Health and Safety file for the works and full compliance with CDM regulations (UK or local Country equivalent)
      • To build strong relationships with sub-contractors, in particular preferred suppliers, to ensure cost effective solutions which meets our quality expectations can be delivered to our clients whilst managing the risk and ensuring back-to-back terms and conditions.
      • Working with other operational managers to ensure the collaborative development of the projects business with effective team working and support of colleagues.
      • Development of project financial plans for revenue and profit.
      • Ensure positive cash flow through the up front agreement of a relevant payment schedule and the submission of timely invoices/applications for payment.
      • Manage the delivery of projects within agreed budget requirements with the target to maximise profit through cost reductions and better buying of sub-contractor services.
      • Ensure appropriate control systems to ensure statutory, policy and contractual commitments are met.
      • Ensuring a customer focus within all areas of operational activities, and that effective relationships are maintained with key client contacts.
      • Promoting and maintaining the core values of Salute.
      • Delivering effective business communication through advice, review, leadership and direct contribution to management team meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence, publicity, monthly and ad-hoc reporting and other publications, as appropriate.

      We’re Looking for Someone With

      • Higher educational qualifications to ‘A’ level/HNC/D or degree
      • Technical education in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline or equivalent
      • Working knowledge of generators, coolers and UPS systems would be desirable
      • Good PC based skills, with experience in Word/Excel and Outlook – intermediate to advance level, desirable skills in PowerPoint and MS Project
      • Experience with commissioning and startup of data center mechanical systems.

      What The Job Involves 

      • Ensure our Data Centres are running smoothly and efficiently at all times.  
      • Carry out technical maintenance, repairs, and installations whilst providing support to our customers to meet SLAs.  
      • Involved with the day-to-day surveillance of buildings and equipment, liaising with contractors and acting as the first point of contact for the escalations of alarms. 

      We’re Looking for Someone With

      • Proven engineering experience in air conditioning, UPS, generators, and LV systems  
      • Experience working as a technician in an electrical or industrial environment  
      • Strong technical fault-finding skills. 
      • A thorough, accurate approach to completing tasks  
      • Good communication skills in English, including report writing.  
      • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.  
      • A can-do attitude, with the drive to take on new responsibilities.   

      Experience with commissioning and startup of data center mechanical systems.
