    Job Description

    The Position

    We are seeking for a highly disciplined and experienced Project Manager to work on our data centre capital projects in France.

    Key Responsibilities but not limited to: 

    • Oversee an agreed scope of work and/or the operational workload of a consultant team and/or contractors; ensuring allocated work is completed / resources are fully utilised in order to deliver against an agreed programme of work.
    • Work within established financial systems to independently produce plans and schedules and track and manage budgets, highlighting variances in order to manage and control project delivery targets.
    • Deliver a number of medium to large scale projects or programmes of work.
    • Present any business project risks or issues to senior managers.
    • Provide advice to colleagues surrounding behaviours, to ensure adherence to internal and external compliance processes.
    • Analyse and review a range of data to identify key existing and emerging themes and trends. 
    • Liaise and collaborate with clients and stakeholders, in order to ensure all parties are informed and aware of project progress and expectations.
    • Responsible for project definition and delivery.

    Education / Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree level
    • At least 7 years’ experience
    • France experience is a must.
    • Strong experience in project management of complex data centers (10 to 20 MW)
    • Strong Pre-contract and contract administration experience
    • Good written and oral communication skills.

      • 10+ years’ experience working construction project management, preferably in data centers.
      • Strong background in Project Management methodologies.
      • Experience in managing a construction project. 
      • Experience with the design and deployment of technical electrical and mechanical systems (electrical or mechanical background. 
      • Experience in Continuous Process Improvement and defining and managing associated metrics and KPIs. 
      • Experience in data centres or a similar mission critical environment is considered a significant advantage though not essential this will be a key consideration should multiple candidates be assessed for suitability. 
      • Experience of working in a European multi-cultural environment.
      • Highly proficient in spoken and written English (C1 or C2 level of CEFR).
      • Good German language skills (B2 level of CEFR).

      What the Job Involves

      • In collaboration with the sales team, help with costing on the entire LDCS portfolio: server rack, containment and security, electrical distribution, cabling, etc.
      • Presentation of products in the LDCS Showroom or on the customer site (France).
      • Supporting clients in the execution phase.
      • Creation of mission orders.
      • Supervision of the intervention of installation service providers.
      • Drafting of the restitution report at the end of the project.
      • Follow-up of any reservations at the signing of the minutes.
      • Configuration of client equipment.
      • Customer training of products sold and installed.

      We’re Looking for Someone Who

      • Has an engineering background.
      • Have the ability to work autonomously, organised and monitored.
      • Ease with computer tools.
      • Very good interpersonal skills
      • Speak English fluently.
      • Hold a B driving license.
