    Job Description

    The Position

    This position is responsible to provide professional pre-sales technical support in a datacenter/mission critical environment to Account Managers and client customers. Support project managers during the execution of won projects with technical & engineering support as required. Utilize experience & knowledge to support sales on specific opportunities - visiting customers from identification of opportunity through to order receipt.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Translate the needs of the end user into a solution, based on input from the customer and enterprise account managers.
    • Support sales in design, technical support, offer production, customer, specifiers and partner visits as trusted advisor.
    • Perform consulting services at customer site as well as over the phone.
    • Document all required information for each site visit performed.
    • Explain, update and support colleagues and departments where needed in project implementation, analysis or customer support.
    • Develop, validate and create full solutions.
    • Understand offer requests + RFP’s and convert to correct configurations.
    • Coordinate and provide technical seminars to partners and end-users.

    Education

    • Bachelor or Master degree in electrical, electromechanical with at least 3 years equivalent experience in a related field.

    Language skills

    • Excellent Dutch/French/English (speaking, reading and writing)

      • Experience in Continuous Process Improvement and defining and managing associated metrics and KPIs. 
      • Experience in data centres or a similar mission critical environment is considered a significant advantage though not essential this will be a key consideration should multiple candidates be assessed for suitability. 
      • Experience of working in a European multi-cultural environment.
      • Highly proficient in spoken and written English (C1 or C2 level of CEFR).
      • Good German language skills (B2 level of CEFR).

      What the Job Involves

      • In collaboration with the sales team, help with costing on the entire LDCS portfolio: server rack, containment and security, electrical distribution, cabling, etc.
      • Presentation of products in the LDCS Showroom or on the customer site (France).
      • Supporting clients in the execution phase.
      • Creation of mission orders.
      • Supervision of the intervention of installation service providers.
      • Drafting of the restitution report at the end of the project.
      • Follow-up of any reservations at the signing of the minutes.
      • Configuration of client equipment.
      • Customer training of products sold and installed.

      We’re Looking for Someone Who

      • Has an engineering background.
      • Have the ability to work autonomously, organised and monitored.
      • Ease with computer tools.
      • Very good interpersonal skills
      • Speak English fluently.
      • Hold a B driving license.
