What the Job Involves...

  • Development and optimization of automation tools, self-service portal solutions as well as monitoring and analysis tools.
  • EMEA-wide optimisation and expansion of active network infrastructures.
  • Configuration and operation of high-end switches, routers, firewalls, DWDM and Linux systems.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new network services and designs.
  • Preparation of technical documentation, presentations and training material for colleagues and customers.
  • Support of other specialist areas, e.g. in the function of a pre-sales or solutions architect.
  • Participation and technical support of customer-specific projects.
  • Compliance with incident and change management processes.
  • Provision of all services of the e-shelter connectivity portfolio within the framework of the agreed SLAs.

We're Looking for Someone Who...

  • Has studied in the field of information processing, completed training as IT specialist (m/f/d) or several years of relevant professional experience.
  • Has at least 5 years' professional experience in the data center or telecommunications environment.
  • Has very good knowledge of network protocols like SPT, BFD, ISIS, BGP, MPLS.
  • Has extensive knowledge in dealing with public IP addresses, autonomous systems (AS), RIPE database and DNS.
  • Has relevant experience with service automation and SDN technologies.
  • Has experience in operating highly available applications using virtualized and/or container-based environments, e.g. vmware, KVM (libvirt), Kubernetes, Docker.
  • Has very good knowledge in the integration of network and application monitoring systems, such as openNMS, Icinga or similar.
  • In-depth linux & programming knowledge e.g. Shell Scripting, Java Programming, Python, Bash and Ruby.
  • Independent, reliable and analytical way of working, based on ITIL processes.
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken English.

  • Responsible for the relationship between the company and the partner(s)
  • Secure a mutually benefital contract between the partner and the company
  • Understand and implement any pre-agreed contract with the company
  • Ensuring that the partner continues to agree a go-to-market contract with the company at the end of contracts
  • Identifying market verticals or end customers of the partner with whitespace developing/executing strategies to secure new business
  • Achieve sales to meet the set targets underpinning the company budget
  • Creating long-term sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships with partner
  • Be seen in the partner as a trusted advisor adding value to their business
  • Inspiring and support junior members of the team
  • Ensure safe landing of any end customers contract via the partner

  • Knowledge of the cultural differences in the European marketplace
  • Proven track record of driving and implementing strategic partner development plans
  • Experience in leading strategic conversations influencing senior stakeholders both with customers and internally
  • Within an partner eco-system:
    • Experience at executing a sales closure plan for opportunities 
    • Experience in qualification of opportunities 
  • Experience in the achievement of customer service and Net Promoter Score and in leading virtual teams in improve customer satisfaction

What The Job Involves...

  • Prospect for new clients primarily through direct/B2B outbound prospecting efforts, and by working with partners, agents and brokers as indirect lead sources
  • Manage the client engagement cycle from prospecting, to proposal through to closing and contract signature, including the negotiation of complex contractual terms and conditions with new clients
  • Retains and extends revenue from large existing enterprise clients
  • Oversee satisfaction of client and prospect base including, but not limited to, sales orders, moves, adds, changes, billing, implementation, service issues, SLAs, and contractual terms
  • Oversees local design & construct and modernization projects and represents the company in local meetings and projects

We Are Looking For Someone Who...

  • At least 7-10 years of quantifiable experience in direct, B2B, relationship driven, new logo acquisition sales in datacenters, cloud solutions, IT services, telecommunications, or related technology verticals
  • Demonstrable experience in complex, executive level selling and relationship development within global clients operating complex, matrix driven, organizational structures
  • Proven ability to assess customer business issues, requirements and budget constraints and prescribe solutions
  • Strong corporate and boardroom image is a plus
  • Strong understanding of datacenters, Exchanges and network providers offering cloud connection
  • Strong communicator who must be able to analyze complex problems and present straightforward solutions, concepts, ideas, figures, action plans, etc
  • Basic knowledge of datacenter operations and build & construction projects and the ability to represent the company in the French market
  • Strong teambuilder with excellent communication skills and the ability to act as a multi-functional spokesman to the company HQ (Sales & Marketing, Operations, and Build & Construct)
  • Competitive intelligence on the colocation, cloud, and managed hosting space is a plus
  • French mother tongue and English is required
