    The Client

    Datacenter People is working with a global market leader in designing and delivering critical infrastructure solutions.

    What the Job Involves…

    • Responsible for the execution of the projects.
    • Timely delivery and quality as well as achievement of the expected profitability of the project itself.
    • Acting as the main interface between the customer and Company.
    • Proactive management and monitoring of the project profitability.
    • Translating the customer needs/requirements into detailed project plans shared with Company functions.
    • Playing a proactive role in problems prevention during the project life cycle by highlighting potential areas of concern and promptly driving other departments in solving issues.
    • Oversee the purchasing activities of the project in conjunction with purchasing to ensure respect of project budget and develop cost reduction and cost containment actions.
    • Develop enduring customer relationships, ensuring accurate and timely forecasting of project’s revenue and margins and to grow sales and revenue..
    • Provide regular communications updates to departmental staff/peers and provide them proper instructions to be executed.

    We’re Looking for Someone Who…

    • Has a superior technical training in Project Management.
    • Has a minimum 5 years’ experience in project management.
    • Can speak as an appropriate level of English.
    • Is able to understand the data center business and expectations.
    • Has technical knowledge of multi COE (AC-DC Power; Thermal; Racks; IMS; Industrial).
    • Possesses leadership skills.

      We’re Looking for Someone Who

      • 10+ years’ experience working construction project management, preferably in data centers.
      • Strong background in Project Management methodologies.
      • Experience in managing a construction project. 
      • Experience with the design and deployment of technical electrical and mechanical systems (electrical or mechanical background. 
      • Experience in Continuous Process Improvement and defining and managing associated metrics and KPIs. 
      • Experience in data centres or a similar mission critical environment is considered a significant advantage though not essential this will be a key consideration should multiple candidates be assessed for suitability. 
      • Experience of working in a European multi-cultural environment.
      • Highly proficient in spoken and written English (C1 or C2 level of CEFR).
      • Good German language skills (B2 level of CEFR).

      Datacenter People is partnering with a global leader in power infrastructure for data centers and other mission-critical environments.

      What the Job Involves

      • In collaboration with the sales team, help with costing on the entire LDCS portfolio: server rack, containment and security, electrical distribution, cabling, etc.
      • Presentation of products in the LDCS Showroom or on the customer site (France).
      • Supporting clients in the execution phase.
      • Creation of mission orders.
      • Supervision of the intervention of installation service providers.
      • Drafting of the restitution report at the end of the project.
      • Follow-up of any reservations at the signing of the minutes.
      • Configuration of client equipment.
      • Customer training of products sold and installed.

      We’re Looking for Someone Who

      • Has an engineering background.
      • Have the ability to work autonomously, organised and monitored.
      • Ease with computer tools.
      • Very good interpersonal skills
      • Speak English fluently.
      • Hold a B driving license.
