    What The Job Involves...

    • Providing leadership to the Data Center Technical Operations, Security Operations, and overall Integrated Facilities Management teams.
    • Responsible for successfully delivering client satisfaction throughout the duration of the customer contract and to exceed in the delivery of all contractual reporting obligations in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Responsible for the electrical, cooling and network infrastructure.
    • Oversee all infrastructure and reporting requirements to achieve 100% availability.
    • Identify, develop, and implement critical metrics necessary to manage and monitor the performance of data centre operations.
    • Responsible for established Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s); reviewing possible violations and potential fee exclusions to customers.
    • Available 7-24-365 to support major incidents. Fully supports incident management and response programme including participating in customer facing meetings related to operations escalations.
    • Manage and supervise Ticketing and Reporting Systems.
    • Reporting includes key performance indicators (KPI’s), service level agreements (SLA’s), critical and non-critical incidents, financial summary, security and access control, infrastructure availability, energy and water utility consumption, capacity planning, planned and unplanned maintenance, etc.
    • Assisting with the sales function and pre-sales activities in the pursuit of customer contracts or account growth.

     
    We Are Looking For Someone Who...

    • Has a proven track record in data center operations management.
    • Has experience of setting up SLAs and operating procedures.
    • Has experience across IT and facilities.
    • Has experience in networking and service delivery.
    • Has a degree in technology or engineering.

      Datacenter People is working with a global leader in designing, building and servicing critical power and cooling infrastructure for the data center industry.
       
      What the Job Involves

      • Represent company actively and cultivate high level relationships key engineering firms, contractors, and GCs to gain insight on critical opportunities. 
      • Provide large project sales leadership to maximise win rate including the following functions as required: specification CDE review/completion, competitive situation analysis, winning price point analysis, and developing/implementing overall sales strategy.
      • Provide technical support for key client engagements including the following activities: assistance with development of concept power architectures, technical guidance for selection of best fit product ratings, battery selection and sizing, creation of concept single lines and virtual or in-person design reviews. 
      • Provide Busbar and Switchgear LoB business account management in partnership with dedicated account managers for select key accounts.
      • Create general industry awareness through attendance and presenting at industry events 
      • Educate selling entities on application focused system architectures. 
      • Work with Sales Managers to provide sales insight and ensure proposals are align with our customer’s needs.
      • Represent the company and actively participate in key customer factory visits when appropriate.
      • Provide industry feedback to product managers for product improvements and roadmaps 
      • Provide guidance and insight to product management and executive teams on shifting market dynamics and customer needs.  
      • Participate in account planning efforts and engagement strategies for key clients.  
      • Prepare and give technical presentations for industry events to establish thought leadership.
      • Maintain database to track influence in key engineering and GC accounts.

      We’re Looking for Someone With

      • Bachelor’s in engineering, business or related degree desired.
      • Technical knowledge of Busbar and Switchgear products and applications.
      • Deep market dynamics and industry knowledge. 
      • Experience working on large, complex RFQs. 
      • Experience working with Sales Offices.  
      • Excellent Sales credibility and self-confidence to deal with frequent, stressful customer relationship issues.
      • Sales Presentation skills – in person and virtual.
      • Large Group Presentation skills – in person and virtual.
      • At least five years of industry sales experience.

      • Maintenance and commissioning of UPS/48V systems and battery systems at the customer's site. 
      • Testing of system parameters and processes.
      • Documentation of the work as well as the realisation of the assignments on time and on target. 
      • Setting personal and company goals (OKR).
      • Use of all necessary tools within policies.
      • Emergency Standby within the region.

      We’re Looking for Someone With

      • Successfully completed vocational training as an electrician in the field of electrical engineering (m/f/d) or industrial engineering (m/f/d).  
      • Practical and technical experience in handling battery systems and their function 
      • Ability to make contact and work in a team.
      • Willingness and flexibility.
      • Willingness to work in an emergency.
      • Willingness to travel in the region served, with overnight stays if necessary.
      • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting, hands-on mentality.
