The data center industry is evolving at substantial rate, increasing the need for highly qualified professionals across the sector.  The industry wide issue is two-fold: to develop the leadership skills of the current workforce to keep up with the rate of change, and to attract new talent into this ever-changing industry.

Datacenter People Chairman and Founder, Peter Hannaford was approached to share his insight and knowledge of the industry with the learners as part of their third-year masters degree studies. The degree is unique as the content is constantly evolving to keep pace with industry progression and utilises support and contribution from data centre professionals and industry influencers from across the world, to share their experiences and knowledge.  Peter addresses the declining talent pool, the drive to attract new talent into the industry, and levelling the current gender imbalance.
