    Principal

    Having worked in a number of sales roles previously, Kalvin seamlessly transitioned into the world of recruitment in 2014. Here he specialised in providing IT and Digital professionals into the NHS for 10 years before deciding to say goodbye to the public sector and hello to the world of data centers. Kalvin joins us as a Principal and is now working hard to source the best data center talent across the world.
     
    Kalvin grew up in South-East London, and like the rest of us he is a big football fan. Despite living within walking distance of Selhurst Park, his allegiances somehow lie with Liverpool! Aside from arguing about how he has some long-lost scouse blood in him, Kalvin is often trying to get his 2 daughters to follow in his footsteps and become Liverpool fans too. He says ‘it’s a work in progress’ as he hasn’t managed to convince them yet. Ironically, this is the same thing he says when questioned on why he hasn’t been to Anfield yet!

    What The Job Involves

    • Client Management: Identify client needs, define technical and financial options, and conduct regular project progress meetings.

    We’re Looking for Someone With

    • Proven experience working in a Data Center environment and familiarity with Anglo-Saxon project frameworks (RIBA). 
    • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential. 
    • Strong autonomy, rigor, synthesis skills, writing, and interpersonal abilities. 
    • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and ensure project coherence. 
    • Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of REVIT is a plus. 
    • Regulatory knowledge: Understanding of Uptime Institute Tier Certification and TIA 942 standard.

    What The Job Involves

    • Design all HVAC installations for every phase of the project, define the system architectures that meet the client’s needs and project typology, size the installations, perform the necessary calculations, and describe the selected solutions. 
    • Organize and control the quality of the production of plans and schematics related to your specialty within your projects. 
    • Monitor the execution of works in collaboration with the designated companies and clients, ensuring a smooth handover of installations and overseeing final inspections (OPR).

    We’re Looking for Someone With

    What The Job Involves

    • Coordination and management of subcontractors and employees on site. 
    • Ensuring safety, working according to VCA/SCC and LMRA methodology. 
    • You are the first point of contact for the customer and external parties. 
    • Monitoring planning and project progress on site, identifying problems and reporting to the project manager. 
    • Carrying out quality controls throughout the entire construction process until handover. 
    • Preparation and review of work plans in collaboration with subcontractors and project managers. 
    • Oversee efficient logistical planning of materials and equipment.

    We’re Looking for Someone With

    • A completed technical education at the technical college level in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering (preferably both).

    What The Job Involves

    • You are a point of contact for customers with technical questions about the installation and supervise the work for the preparation, implementation and reporting of the FAT and SAT.
    • You will perform structured tests on generators. And each system is verified by you for correctness and security, so that everything works as designed.  
    • During testing, you analyze technical problems and provide targeted solutions, always based on a logical and factual approach. 
    • You work with our own designed generator control system, in which you control the automatic switch between the main power supply and emergency power so that the synchronization of multiple generators runs smoothly. 
    • With our system, you can quickly diagnose faults through detailed data logging, for reliable operation of emergency power installations. 
    • You ensure that all emergency power installations meet the standards, and the specific project requirements. You work meticulously to ensure that everything is right down to the last detail. 
    • You carefully record all test results and processes in reports, so that there is clear documentation that meets the project requirements and relevant standards.

    We’re Looking for Someone With

    • MBO 4 Shipping, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics. 
    • Speaking language is German and English (conversation level). 
    • Living in the Frankfurt region or willing to relocate. 
    • Willingness to follow additional training courses such as CoMap with regard to emergency power installations. 
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in testing and commissioning from the wind farms, oil and gas industry, mobile power solutions etc. 
    • Knowledge and experience with programming and modifying PLCs and possibly CoMap.  
    • In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, preferably in emergency generators or CHPs. 
    • An analytical mindset and an eye for detail. You know that every technical detail counts and leave nothing to chance. 
    • The ability to work independently in an ambitious environment, where clear guidelines are followed and every step is carried out according to plan.
