    The Client

    Datacenter People is recruiting for a company dedicated to prefabricated modular data centers, with an installed base of 600 units ranging from cable landing stations, repeater stations to disaster recovery sites, covering all-in-one prefabricated data centers, modular utility platforms composed of IT modules and facilities modules, tailor-made as well as co-developed solutions.

    What the Job Involves…

    • As an expert, you provide technical support to the sales, production and after-sales process.
    • You take care of the product management for Automation DCF, including market studies
    • You develop innovative concepts in prefab data centers.
    • You support the sales team in terms of sales argumentation, documentation and price calculations to achieve the targets.
    • You participate in sales meetings and give presentations, both in Belgium and abroad.
    • You study the customer's question or of a specifications and look for a tailor-made solution and convert it into a quotation (high level design).
    • You calculate the cost price and selling price of items and their commissioning.
    • You will work closely with our solution architects and our Chief Technical Officer to create quotations and guarantee the transfer of ordered projects to the solution architects.
    • You support the Chief Commercial Officer in formulating the objectives including the forecast and the budget and achieving them.

    We’re Looking for Someone Who…

    • In possession of a master's degree in Engineering (industrial engineer electricity / electronics / industrial design or construction) and you have affinity for product marketing and sales.
    • You have preferably a few years of relevant experience.
    • Passionate about data centers, an accreditation is a strong plus.
    • Always looking for improvements and new products for existing and new markets.
    • A team player who approaches problems with an open mind and a positive attitude.
    • A good communicator, fluent in English and preferably knowledge of DUTCH and/or FR, any other language is a plus.
    • Eager to learn and have good presentation skills.
    • Willing to travel.
