    What the Job Involves...

    • Respond, in a professional manner, to all assigned service calls while on duty.
    • Read, understand, and comply with all procedures outlined in the Field Procedure Manual.
    • Perform all work in a safe manner, and in accordance with established company safety policy.
    • Keep dispatching center informed of your schedule and the status of all open jobs.
    • Ensure spare parts are properly accounted for using established parts procedures.
    • Submit periodically paperwork in a timely, accurate and complete manner and in case of Wireless Field Service.
    • Maintain the accuracy of the customer listing by reporting errors.
    • Report sales or service leads to the proper department.

    We're Looking for Someone Who...

    • Has a professional experience in technical service area.
    • MUST have a German driving license.
    • Has experience working with Low Voltage Electrical systems (USP systems).

    What the Job Involves...

    • Working with a team of highly qualified Technicians, the role offers huge development potential for any candidate wanting to work on the leading edge of the growing data centre industry.
    • Operation and maintenance of all critical facility systems, areas include: Electrical, Mechanical, Building and Control.
    • Monitor the EPMS, BMS, Fire Systems Alarms and respond in a timely manner.
    • Operate, monitor, maintain and respond to abnormal conditions in critical facility systems.
    • Perform preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance on state of the art medium & low voltage, high availability power systems.
    • Ensure all subcontractors are inducted & permitted to work.
    • Ensure that documents library and workshop are clean & tidy always.
    • Provide input into and develop site specific procedures including EOPs, SOPs and MOPS.

    We're Looking for Someone Who...

    • Has a fully verifiable trade qualification in a relevant engineering discipline & verifiable additional training that is relevant to the proposed environment.
    • Has an understanding of LV power distribution and loading.
    • Has a strong understanding and experience of the electrical & mechanical systems used in a data centre environment, including: Feeders, Transformers, Generators, Fuel Systems, Switchgear, UPS Systems, Battery Banks, ATS / STS Units, Chillers, Air Handling Units, CRAC Units, Fire Alarm Systems and Fire Suppression Systems.
    • Is experienced using complex automatic control equipment, including relay logic, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), building management systems and their integration with the data center infrastructure.
    • Has experience of low & medium voltage distribution systems & associated switch gear and protection equipment is preferred.
    • Is able to work shifts and to provide emergency cover as required.
    • Has prior data center experience is preferred.

    What the Job Involves…

    • Handling of service requests directly addressed to service engineer (based on customer or SLA).
    • Resolving of technical problems forwarded from Level 1 Support
    • Initiation of on-site interventions (to be done by service partner (ASP)) and creation of adequate repair instructions and determination of required spare parts, on-site job SLA monitoring.
    • Support and participation in creating and updating the technical documentation/operating instructions (knowledge base) for remote and on-site service activities.

    • Conducting of trainings for ASPs.
    • Remote diagnostics and service.

    • Has excellent communication skills.
    • Has an understanding of end-to-end service processes.
    • Is fluent in English.
