The Client

What the Job Involves…
- Increase top line sales in the Region.
- Establish and develop multi-channel sales strategy.
- Develop regional sales channels, including selecting new representatives, establishing geographic prioritization, developing representative selection criteria, representative relationship support and management, development and administration of representative contracts, pricing strategy, training methods, and support programs.
- Develop and implement target data center end user account strategy.
- Negotiate contracts and assist in their administration.
- Create proposals, sales letters and prepare and deliver presentations.
- Monitor regional market trends and identify impact on product development and suggest new products and services to promote and market within strategic global markets.
- Establish annual budget and adhere to approved budget guidelines.
- Establish and maintain database of regional contacts and accounts.
- Coordinate sales operations with all other departments/divisions of the Company.
- Assists with exportation requirements.
- Assists with regional trade account receivables and coordinate with Credit Manager and Accounts Receivable.
- Represent the company at industry tradeshows and events.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
We’re Looking for Someone Who…
- Has excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with highly developed listening skills
- Has superior organisational, interpersonal, communication, negotiation and staff development and operations skills.
- Has appropriate language skills for the region.
- Has an Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Has an existing network of DACH (and ideally Poland) critical markets customers and potential representative.
- Has 5 years’ experience selling to the mission critical markets specifying engineering community.
- Has 5 years’ experience selling to the enterprise mission critical markets end users
- Has 5 years’ experience in mission critical market sales.
- Has 5 years’ experience developing and executing strategic and tactical sales plans.
- Has a proven background in sales growth in the mission critical markets market.
- Is highly computer literate with high level of PowerPoint expertise, PC proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of sales contact management databases and CRM systems.

What the Job Involves…
- Respond to customer enquires via phone and email, assist potential customers during their evaluation process, create quotes & new customer accounts, coordinate with channel partners, & close sales.
- Establish, develop & grow new business relationships with influential contacts within Key Accounts.
- Keep management informed by maintaining accurate customer and pipeline records within CRM system.
- Submit accurate and timely activity reports as required.
- Conduct product demonstrations via webex to potential customer’s audiences that are both technical and non-technical.
- Provide management with information regarding local market opportunity and identifying new business opportunities and channel partnerships.
- Other duties as assigned.
We’re Looking for Someone Who…
- Is able to converse & consult with customers, providing educational value during the process.
- Has a (minimum 5 year) proven track record of Software sales and/or business process sales preferably within the IT domain.
- Has excellent listening, written, verbal, and remote presentation skills.
- Has operational excellence in managing a pipeline of opportunities, revenue forecasting and conducting account/forecast reviews with management.
- Has knowledge of data centers, and the operational day-to-day management of them.
- Has a demonstrable record of sales success against quota.
- Has formal sales training (Challenger, Strategic, SPIN, etc.)
- Has experience with telemarketing, lead generation, or cold calling.
- Is able to build meaningful business relationships.
- Is able to use Microsoft Office/Exchange, and CRM systems.
- Has a BA/BS degree or technical certifications.

Datacenter People is working with a global colocation data center operator.
What the Job Involves…
- Supports site visits, presentations, customer workshops based on exceptional knowledge of market and infrastructure in all countries.
- Acts as second pair of eyes to all technical country and HQ input and provides all technical information not available in country as part of RFP and tender processes.
- Collaborates with clients on their requirements to favourably influence specifications in RFPs.
- Builds and maintains effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with key senior-level decision makers and influencers at a selected group of major customers.
- Works with a defined set of customers to meet revenue targets of the company and supports sales team in the closing process.
- Conducts regular status and strategy meetings with the International Sales and Bid-Management as well as customer’s senior management or Subject Matter Experts to understand their needs and link them to the organization’s product/services strategy.
- Supports the national or major account sales team in the management of/building strong relationship to selected customers.
- Conducts environmental scans, organizational positioning analyses and other studies.
- Develops and keeps up to date a data base for standardized answers to RFP's in line with the standardized data center design.
- Provides external clients with objective strategic advisory services to improve organizational performance and long-term competitiveness.
- Supports the design, implementation, and delivery of business performance/improvement programs in areas such as customer relationship management and business process engineering.
We’re Looking for Someone Who…
- Has a technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in a data center
- Has a clear sales orientation, proven ability to articulate clear value propositions at executive level in multinational setting.
- Has a university degree in engineering would be beneficial, but not required; alternatively, comparable vocational education (e.g. in industries like pharmaceutical, petro-chemical, or other critical industries) with extensive working experience in the required sectors.
- Has ideally 3-5 years’ of experience in data center or telecommunication sector, and 3-5 years of project management or consultancy desired.
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English, both written and speaking and ideally one additional European language.
