    The Client

    Datacenter People is working with an infrastructure platform operating over 100 edge data center facilities across Europe.

    What The Job Involves

    The purpose of this role is to provide in house expertise and experience to:

    • Define schedule requirements to create greater visibility of project performance across the company by producing project schedule specifications.  Once defined, roll out the specification across the supply chain to ensure consistency across all live projects
    • Support procurement activities to ensure a solid and robust baseline is included in the contract documentation
    • Align schedules to commercial Work Breakdown Structure and implement alignment in reporting to support internal (cash flow/accruals etc.) and external progress reporting (contractor payment applications etc.)
    • Analyse and verify contractor progress reports and update internal reports (via the Project Management Tool) to increase real time visibility to project progress.
    • Support the Design and Construction team to priorities workloads and help longer term resource planning by producing short term lookaheads and programme level resourced schedules to ensure the team functions proactively
    • Creation and maintenance of activity database to establish benchmarking on activity durations to enable greater supplier analysis of programmes
    • Partake in project risk analysis and identify potential mitigation
    • Analyse Contractor delay claims against project baselines to ensure a fair and reasonable assessment is undertaken via time impact analysis
    • Help support cross-functional coordination by incorporating partner teams timelines in to overall project schedules to align effort across the internal organisation
    • Oversee third party consultants supporting your job function as the company expands to maintain the requirements as set out above

    We Are Looking For Someone With

    • Ability to lead, coordinate & organize multiple sources of schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports as required.
    • Working experience of using standard Project Management software including Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Data Centre industry preferred.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Develops good working relationships with project team
    • Ability to travel if required
