    Datacenter People's client delivers game-changing precision immersion cooling solutions that make it easier for companies to achieve their Net Zero targets by significantly reducing their energy and water consumption as well as reducing the cost of data centre design, build and operations. Their customers are deploying some of the most innovative and advanced high performance computing technologies in the world.

    What The Job Involves

    As a Technical Sales Consultant you’ll have a key cross-functional role between Sales, R&D, Engineering teams and the Customer and work closely with the Director of Innovation and Director of Product Strategy. You will provide guidance and expertise on integrating and deployment of solutions within the cooling environment of a Data Center combining new and old cooling technologies. You will join a team of industry experts, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security for Next Generation Data Centers.

    • Support as a SME (Subject Matter Expert in Cooling) for technically complex projects and tenders
    • Respond to RFI/RFQ’s quickly and accurately
    • Support the Sales team with understanding customer requests to quote and suggest solutions
    • Provide estimated costs of full deployment 
    • Raise awareness of offset benefits against comparison technologies

    We Are Looking For Someone With

    • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineer or related field 
    • 3 + years of proven experience in engineering and similar customer-facing roles 
    • Knowledge in HVAC or refrigeration (desirable)
    • Able to work autonomously and in a changing environment
    • Strong communication skills
    • Willing to travel and work across varied time zones
    • Expertise in High Performance Computing, Data Center or related (desirable)
